The (DDCMHT) toolkit is a resource provided by the to support the delivery of integrated care.

麻豆传媒映画 is actively working to become Co-Occurring Capable across all of our 175+ programs. Nationally, people with co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders experience high rates of adverse outcomes, including suicide risk, hospitalization, and poor social functioning. Treatment that is integrated is more effective than treatment that is parallel or sequential. Villa Fairmont Mental Health Rehabilitation Center held its second Prevocational Job Fair, providing clients with valuable experience preparing for employment in the community. The rehabilitation department created a meaningful event that excited clients and prepared them for the work environment.

The job fair featured consent-to-photograph forms, assistance with completing job applications, on-the-spot interviews with rehab staff, and healthy snacks after interviews. Positions currently offered include Villa Announcer, Plant Care Worker, Outdoor Gardening, Document Organizer, Telephone Cleaner, Book/Video Librarian, and Clothing Care Assistant.

Rehab staff serve as interviewers and may recommend positions to clients beyond what they applied for, making the experience both meaningful and realistic. At the end of a four-week work course, clients are celebrated with an awards ceremony where they receive a certificate of completion and a special non-monetary gift.

The prevocational job fair represents another important step in the recovery journey, helping clients build skills, confidence, and preparation for community employment. Congratulations to the rehabilitation department for making this event a success and creating such a valuable experience for Villa Fairmont clients!

Celebrating The People We Serve

As we celebrate 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 60th year, we want to spotlight some of the things that make 麻豆传媒映画 special. The most important people at 麻豆传媒映画 are those we serve, who are our reason for existence. From them, we learn about resilience, recovery, hope, joy, and the power within us all to follow our dreams and create the lives we want to live.

Today鈥檚 Spotlight:
RavenMan, La Paz Resident

One year ago, a resident arrived at La Paz Geropsychiatric Center feeling lost to himself and to the world. Today, he has been transformed and reborn, self-confident and enthusiastic about life. He has become the proud RavenMan, embracing the metaphor of the mystical spiritual bird revered by many religions for its wit and wisdom. Rising from the ashes, he has been granted a new life.

His sister and mother share their gratitude for his journey:

This is a special appreciation letter to all those who made it possible!!! One year ago, my brother, RavenMan, was a lost man!! Lost to himself!! Lost to the world!! Today I saw him transformed and reborn, self-confident and enthusiastic about life!! He has become the proud RavenMan, with a metaphor to the mystical, spiritual bird revered by many religions for its wit and wisdom. Rising from the ashes, he has been granted a new life by the creator!! Oh yes!! Miracles are real!! This one happened at the La Paz GeroPsychiatric Center. My deep gratitude and blessings go to Rezarta, Hana, Charles, Eunice, Luke, Brigette, Kolani, Natalie, Barbara, of course, Dr. Benjo, and all the rest of the team who have become a new family at a new home for our dear brother and son. This is a sacred space that has healed him and where he has finally found his inner 鈥減az/peace!鈥 This is the place where he belongs now! These are the people who have seen and nurtured in him who he truly is!! With so much love to all of you,鈥 鈥 RavenMan's sister and mother

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. RavenMan鈥檚 transformation reflects his strength and the compassionate, healing environment created together at La Paz. For 60 years, 麻豆传媒映画's legacy has been shaped by stories of hope, perseverance, and transformation.
